I noticed that the exterior appeared to be designed with a distinct style on the first level and a different one on the second floor. "Do you want it to look like one house?" I asked. "Have you considered a second stair from your personal space to the kitchen?" With those two ideas, we were hired for a project that helped our firm survive the three years when there was no fiat bank money for construction.

My name is Bryan, and after 26 years of designing custom homes with my team, I've watched the fiat system slowly strangle authentic architecture. That Wieland project taught me that life still happened even when there was a crash. People still had babies, got divorced, and needed to move. By June 2022, I started over with humble stacking Sats and dollar cost averaging. I was now a maximalist, and the values of sound money started to align with my values for good architecture designed for individuals.
